This Stunned CD-R, Facing the Nothing World , runs nearly 40-minutes on the dot over four meandering tracks that conjure up aquamarine-tinted slow motion footage of whales trundling forward on their migratory paths, sending out quavering dispatches to their ocean-locked mammalian brethren. But first they make a stop at the frickin' underwater disco, where someone's playing Board of Canada covers after hours as the stragglers filter out, and our hero is left in a puddle of his own wavering loops, playing himself a sad guitar solo.           (impose)
