SPUN O LITH (SPUN IV)

In-n-out constantly changing vid light beat installation and general havoc-making shit-stirring
chaosifier/pacificolithic reflecting building-upperer of all peoples’ GUTS
SPUN O LITH will be built inside the Fitness Center for Arts & Tactics with a variety of reflective materials found
on random corners of BK, .99 $hiny ebay auctions, HD field trips, and covert trash operations. The evolving
environment will be built around a changing ‘control box’ and incorporate a web of video projections and a system
of mirrors. Rebecca Gaffney et al (see list below) will use analog video editors to manipulate multiple channels of
video feedback produced by the interaction of live cameras with the reflective space, often with performers of
various sorts refracted and splintered to infinity. You’ll feel like you’re rolling, even if you’re not.

Rebecca Gaffney is a Brooklyn-based video and installation artist/musician/writer who works with out-of-phase strobe light,
reflections of performers in live camera feedback, light/vid/music improv, transcendence, happenings, epic collaborations,
aerial views, and "new shit."
